Vol. 380 No. 6

Written Answers. - Cashel, Tipperary, School Proposal.

34.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the proposed community school for Cashel, County Tipperary; the reason for the delay in not permitting the contract going out to tender; and the approximate date on which the foundation will be laid.

Architectural planning of the proposed new 800 pupil community school for Cashel, County Tipperary, is at an advanced stage. My Department are at present examining the bills of quantities. The rate at which this project, as with all other capital projects, will proceed to the next stage will depend on the availability of capital resources and on my Department's other commitments and priorities.
