The total cost, including public service pay, of printing and distributing Iris Oifigiúil in 1987 was £436,500. The total number of paying subscribers was 126. The total number of non-paying recipients was 450. Iris Oifigiúil is issued free to Government Departments, Members of the Judiciary, Divisional Headquarters of the Garda Síochána and to Copyright Libraries.
