Vol. 381 No. 4

Written Answers. - FÁS Schemes.

141.

asked the Minister for Labour the reason the trainees on the FÁS scheme in County Meath did not receive a Christmas bonus in 1987 when all of the other employees on similar schemes throughout the country did; if he will have this matter rectified as the participants on this scheme have been unfairly treated; if those who take part in the training schemes get sick, the reason they are not entitled to any payments; and if he will rectify the matter.

The information sought by the Deputy is concerned with day-to-day activities of FÁS. I would suggest, therefore, that the Deputy contact FÁS direct in the matter.

142.

asked the Minister for Labour when a subsidy payment will be made under the Employment Incentive Scheme/Work Experience Programme to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.

The information sought by the Deputy in relation to the work experience programme and employment incentive scheme is concerned with day-to-day activities of FÁS. I would suggest, therefore, that the Deputy contact FÁS direct in the matter.
