Under my Department's scheme of aid for the development of youth and sport at local level funds are made available on an annual basis to vocational education committees. The scheme is administered under the following headings:
(a) Youth and Sports Grants;
(b) Special Projects;
(c) Outdoor Pursuits;
(d) Sailing Courses.
The total amounts which were paid to each vocational education committee under these headings for 1987 are in the form of a tabular statement which I propose to circulate with the Official Report.
The 1988 allocation to Vocational Education Committees under the Youth and Sport Grant heading are similar to the 1987 allocation.
