SES Monitoring Committee.

62.

asked the Minister for Labour the members of the Social Employment Scheme Monitoring Committee.

The monitoring committee of the social employment scheme was set up by the Minister in early 1985 when the National Manpower Service was part of the Department of Labour.

As the management of the social employment scheme has now been transferred to FÁS under the Labour Services Act, 1987, the Minister has now no function in relation to the committee. The membership of the committee is a matter for day-to-day administration by FÁS.
