asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the quantity of Dutch bacon imported in to Ireland for each of the last four years; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this bacon is at present being sold as Irish bacon; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Imports of bacon from the Netherlands in the years 1984-87 were as follows:
