The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that a cheque in settlement of the taxpayer's initial claim for repayment on the grounds of unemployment was issued on 14 April 1988. A second repayment claim was submitted on 19 April 1988. This claim was dealt with by way of review of the taxpayer's liability for 1987-88. A cheque in settlement of the refund due was issued to her on 12 May 1988.
