Vol. 382 No. 9

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

61.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the total amount paid by the IDA by way of grants or loans, during the past five years to a company (details supplied) in County Cork.

I understand that the IDA paid grants totalling £176,000 to the company in the past five years.

63.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid a farm development grant.

A claim under the farm improvement programme for payment of a grant has been received and will be paid as soon as practicable. All claims under the programme are dealt with strictly in order of receipt. Payments are being phased in such a way as to ensure adherence to the amount provided in the Vote. Consequently, there is some delay in making grant payments.
