asked the Minister for the Environment the number of sewerage schemes which have been sanctioned for County Kerry in 1988 to date; and the amount of money he has allocated to same.

One sewerage scheme — the Glenbeigh sewerage scheme — has been approved in County Kerry so far this year. The scheme was sanctioned on 6 May, as part of the small schemes programme for 1988, and an allocation of £49,500 in respect of the scheme was notified to Kerry County Council.

asked the Minister for the Environment the number of sewerage schemes he has sanctioned for County Mayo in 1988; and the amount of money he has allocated for same.

The number of such schemes is three. These schemes form part of the 1988 sanitary services small schemes programme and funds totalling £129,000 have been allocated in respect of them.
