Supplementary Estimates, 1988. - Convention for the Protection of Individuals with Regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data.

I move:

That, it is expedient to make provision for the charging of such fees as may be prescribed by the Minister for Justice with the consent of the Minister for Finance by regulations under any Act of the present session to give effect to the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data done at Strasbourg on the 28th day of January, 1981, and for that purpose to regulate in accordance with its provisions the collection, processing, keeping, use and disclosure of certain information relating to individuals that is processing automatically.
