asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of resolutions on disarmament in which Ireland abstained during November-December, 1987 at the 42nd General Assembly of the United Nations; and if he will give details of the resolutions.

Ireland abstained on 12 of the 64 Resolutions on Disarmament at the 42nd UN General Assembly in 1987, as detailed in the following tabular statement. My Department would be happy to provide the Deputy, if he so wishes, with the texts and other relevant information on the resolutions in question.
