The Commissioners of Public Works have identified a suitable site for a social welfare office near the proposed Town Centre in Tallaght. It is hoped that the purchase of the site will be finalised shortly and that planning will then begin. Construction of the new building may commence in 1989 subject to sufficient funding being made available in 1989 and 1990.
