Twenty four lots of immature forests made up of 690 ha were offered for sale in August 1988. The lots were located in the following forests:
Athy, Glen of Imaal, Rossmore, Kilsheelan, Clogheen, Newmarket, Ballynoe, Rathduff, Corrakyle, Feale, Mountbellew, Ballinasloe, Ardara, Lough Eske (2 lots), Raphoe, Stranorlar, Swanlinbar, Tourmakeady, Dowra, Lough Key, Dundrum, Gort (2 lots).
