50.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will receive payment of a farm development grant for a farm roadway.

A grant under the farm modernisation scheme was paid recently.

51.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay of six months in the payment of a land reclamation grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will arrange for payment of same to issue.

This grant will be paid inside the next few weeks.

52.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the present position regarding the application of a person (details supplied) in County Wexford for an agricultural installation premium; and when payment will be made.

Before eligibility under the scheme of installation aid for young farmers can be determined, a detailed investigation of each application must be carried out. In this case the investigation has not yet been completed. If the applicant is found to be eligible, payment of the premium will be made in due course.

53.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment will be made to persons (details supplied) in County Wexford for a beef headage grant and the ewe subsidy scheme.

The persons named are father and son and the position regarding their 1987 grants is as follows: The father will be paid his 1987 ewe premium scheme grants shortly. The son has been paid his 1987 calf premium and special beef premium schemes grant already.
