I presume that the Deputy is referring to proposals for the improvement of the national primary road, N2, between Rathory and Rahanna. Outline proposals for the scheme were approved in principle by the Department in 1986. It is envisaged that the Rathory-Rahanna scheme will be carried out as part of the phased improvements of the N2 southwards from Aclint Bridge.
