Vol. 383 No. 6

Written Answers. - Cork Regional Hospital.

216.

asked the Minister for Health if he will arrange for a separate capital budget for the purpose of remedying the defects in the structure in the Cork Regional Hospital.

The remedying of any structural defects that may exist at Cork Regional Hospital is a matter for the Southern Health Board in the first instance. Provision is included in this year's health capital programme for the repair of defective brickwork at the hospital and any additional capital funds that the board may require for such works in 1989 will be considered in the context of the priority the board assign to these works and taking into account all the other competing demands for capital funds that are on hands at present.
