Limerick West): The provision of suitable accommodation for living, operational, administrative, recreational and storage purposes throughout the Defence Forces is an ongoing process. Financial provision in the sum of £9.8 million i.e. £7 million for capital works and £2.8 million for refurbishment and maintenance works, has been made in the Estimates for 1989 for these works. This is an increase of £1 million on this year's figure.
The works to be undertaken in 1989 under all headings have been or will be selected on a priority basis, in accordance with the needs of the Defence Forces.
