asked the Minister for Education when the proposed extension to Listowel vocational school, County Kerry will proceed.

My Department are at present awaiting the receipt of revised working drawings from the County Kerry VEC, which had previously submitted proposals for a revised extension project. The rate at which this project as with all other capital projects, will proceed will depend on the availability of capital resources and on my Department's other commitments and priorities.

asked the Minister for Education when the proposed extension to Glenderry national school, Ballyheigue, County Kerry will commence.

My Department will now reassess the overall accommodation needs of this school with a view to grant-aiding a suitable proposed extension in view of prevailing and future data.

261.

asked the Minister for Education if she has any plans to sanction an extension to the Convent of Mercy secondary school, Moyderwell, Tralee, County Kerry to replace the prefabricated buildings which are in a poor state of repair.

The proposed extension to St. Mary's secondary school, Moyderwell, Tralee is currently at the preplanning stage. Due to my Department's other commitments and priorities, it has not been possible to provide the necessary funds to advance the project in the current year. However, this project will be reviewed in the context of the capital resources available for second-level building projects in 1989. In the meantime, my Department have sanctioned funding for the provision of four additional classrooms.
