Vol. 383 No. 8

Written Answers. - National Lottery Allocations.

177.

asked the Minister for the Environment the total amount of money allocated to date to projects in south west Cork out of the proceeds of the national lottery; if he will give details of same; and if he will give the proportion of such moneys expressed as a percentage of total allocations from his Department.

187.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give details of national lottery funds allocated by his Department in Waterford city and county in (a) 1987 and (b) 1988; if he will specify the recipients and amounts in each instance; and if he will list (a) those applications which were not approved for grant-aid and (b) those which are at present being processed.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 177 and 187 together.

A list of projects assisted from national lottery funds up to a recent date has been published by the lottery company and is available on request from them. The list contains details of projects assisted in the Cork and Waterford areas. Separate records relating to the south-west Cork area are not available in my Department.

Because of the large numbers involved, it would not be practicable to list projects for which grants have not been allocated.
