Written Answers. - County Cork Schools.

240.

asked the Minister for Education if funds will be provided in either 1988 or 1989 for the building project at Ballinora national school, County Cork.

I am prepared, in principle, to authorise the provision of funds from my Department's 1989 capital allocation for national school building to grant aid the proposed extension of Ballinora national school, County Cork.

241.

asked the Minister for Education if her letter of 30 September 1988 regarding the building project at Coláiste Iognáid Rís, St. Patrick's Road, Cork means that funds will be provided in either 1988 or 1989 for this project.

Funds are being provided this year for the proposed building project at Coláiste Iognáid Rís in respect of stage 4 of the design team procedures (working drawings).

On completion of this stage consideration will then be given to the further progression of this project in the context of available resources.

242.

asked the Minister for Education if her letter of 30 September 1988 regarding the building project at Réalt na Mara School, Crosshaven, County Cork means that funds will be provided in either 1988 or 1989 for this project.

Funds are being provided this year for the proposed building project at Coláiste Muire Réalt na Mara, Crosshaven, in respect of stage 4 of the design team procedures (working drawings).

The rate of progress of the project in 1989, as in the case of all other second level building projects, will be dependent on the availability of capital resources and on my Department's other commitments and priorities.
