asked the Minister for Education if she intends to appoint a remedial teacher to the combined parish school of Donnoughmore, Knockea and Roxboro, County Limerick.

Available remedial teaching posts are allocated in accordance with a priority of educational need. The number of remedial posts to be sanctioned in any school year would depend on the financial resources available to the Department.

The application will be considered in conjunction with those on hand in the light of the availability of such posts in the future.

asked the Minister for Education if she intends to appoint a teacher at the Gaelscoil at South Hill, Limerick; and when she will make such an appointment.

The question of sanction for the appointment of a teacher will be considered, when the school has fulfilled the requirements for recognition as a national school.
