The proposed building project at the Patrician Academy, Mallow, consists of an extension and extensive renovation works and is currently at Stage 5 of the planning process (bills of quantities).
A fire officer's report on the condition of the existing building has recently been received in my Department and is currently under consideration.
It is not possible to indicate at present when construction work will commence as the rate at which this project, as with all other capital projects, may proceed, is dependent on the availability of capital resources, and on my Department's other commitments and priorities.
