asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the application for grant aid from the proceeds of the national lottery which has been lodged in her Department by Ardclough GAA Club, Straffan, County Kildare; whether she expects to be in a position to meet the request for capital grant in the current year; if her attention has been drawn to the substantial voluntary contributions already achieved by this club; and, in view of the strong tradition of community involvement in this area, if she will make a statement on the matter.
