The proposals for the future regulation of occupational pension schemes which were made by the National Pensions Board in the report referred to have major implications for employers, employees and the pensions industry. In the light of the views put forward by the interests involved I am at present finalising my proposals in this area and I will shortly be putting these before the Government with a view to introducing appropriate legislation as soon as possible.
