Vol. 384 No. 4

Written Answers. - Social Welfare Benefit.

65.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare when the appeal of a person (details supplied) in County Cork for disability benefit will be heard; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person concerned was considered to be capable of work following examinations on two different occasions by a medical referee. His case has been referred to an appeals officer for determination. The appeals officer may decide to hold an oral hearing if it is considered necessary and the person concerned will be advised accordingly.
