A comprehensive review of the legislative and administrative requirements which my Department imposes on business and industry has been completed. It has been concluded that the requirements currently imposed are the minimum necessary to enable the Department to carry out its responsibilities in an efficient and equitable manner and do not impose an unreasonable burden on business and industry generally.
