asked the Minister for Finance the number of Office of Public Works outdoor staff who are in permanent employment in the Kerry/Limerick area for drainage works.

The Office of Public Works employ 61 industrial staff who are engaged on permanent drainage maintenance work in the South West Drainage Region of which the Kerry/Limerick area is the principal constituent. The number actually employed in the Kerry/Limerick area is 54.

asked the Minister for Finance the number of Office of Public Works engineers who are in permanent employment in the Kerry/Limerick area.

Nine Office of Public Works engineers are permanently employed in the Kerry/Limerick area. One of these is engaged on marine work and one on hydrometric work. The remainder are part of the staff of the South West Drainage Region of which the Kerry/Limerick area is the principal constituent.
