Vol. 384 No. 7

Written Answers. - National Lottery Allocation.

54.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason it has not been possible to provide funds for the Kerry Association for the Deaf from the national lottery for the development of their premises in Tralee, County Kerry.

The question of providing assistance for this project from national lottery funds was first brought to my attention by the Deputy on 31 August 1988, by which time the funds available to me for the 1988 amenity grants scheme had been allocated. The project, together with all other projects brought to my attention, will be considered for grant assistance in the event of additional national lottery funds being made available for the scheme.
