The Galway Fishery was acquired by my Department for IR£200,000.
In 1982 the fishery was transferred to the Central Fisheries Board to be managed as part of its role in the conservation, development and management of inland fisheries.
I have no function in the day-to-day running of the fishery. I am not in a position, therefore, to give details to the Deputy of the annual income and expenditure.
