In view of the current budgetary situation it has been decided to proceed with the final phase of a modified scheme costing in total £3.1 million in two phases. This scheme consists of a 200 metre pier with back up area and associated dredging. Phase I provides for 80 metres of quay with back-up area and it is hoped that site works will commence almost immediately. Phase I will take approximately two years to complete.
