During my speech of 4 November 1988 in Cavan I said that cage based aquaculture would not be authorised for the Corrib-Mask system and that the facility on Lettercraffoe will be phased out. The facility will be closed by September, 1989 at the latest or earlier if there are indications of adverse environmental impact.
