As I informed the Deputy in February 1988, development at Clogherhead is one of my Department's priority fishery harbour projects. Because of financial constraints it is not possible to say when work will commence or when the model survey required before a plan can be drawn up can be undertaken. I am satisfied that the repair works undertaken in 1986 have proved effective.
