I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for registration (based on possession) under section 49 of the Registration of Title Act, 1964. It was lodged in the Land Registry on 2 February, 1986. Such applications usually involve complex legal issues. This particular application is necessarily associated with another similar application in relation to which the Registrar of Titles has raised queries with the applicant's solicitor. As soon as these queries have been discharged satisfactorily the Land Registry will be in a position to proceed with the application which is the subject of the question.
