asked the Minister for Ariculture and Food arising from his reply to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 6, 47 and 61 of 17 November 1988 and particularly to his reference (details supplied) to a number of other options open to the Board of Teagasc, apart from voluntary redundancies, if he will outline the other options to which he was referring.

The range of options is a matter for the Board of Teagasc to consider in the first place but I would expect that they would include the possibilities for increased income from non-State sources, a review of the range of services provided by the organisation and, possibly, the sale of surplus assets.
