As the Deputy may be aware, this scheme ceased to operate as a national scheme in 1984 when it was discontinued in the Southern Health Board. I have sought detailed and specific information from health boards in order to enable me to prepare a three year plan commencing in 1989 to improve the delivery of dental services for those eligible for them.
