Vol. 385 No. 2

Written Answers. - Mobility Allowance Application.

195.

asked the Minister for Health if he will authorise the payment to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin of the mobility allowance as a matter of extreme urgency.

The payment of a mobility allowance in any individual case is a matter for determination by the appropriate health board, having regard to all the circumstances of that case.

I have had inquiries made from the Eastern Health Board in this case and have been informed that the application is at present being considered. A decision on the application will be made shortly.
