Vol. 385 No. 2

Written Answers. - Civil Defence Stores.

206.

asked the Minister for Defence if Civil Defence stores are inspected regularly; the number of store depots in Dublin city; if the stores and their contents are up to the required standard; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Limerick West): An inspection of Civil Defence stores is carried out approximately every two years by my Department during the course of stocktaking.

There are three main Civil Defence stores depots in Dublin. These are at Pembroke Road, Stanley Street and St. Anne's Estate. The stores and contents are generally up to the required standard. Periodic maintenance and improvement of stores is arranged by the local authorities with grant-aided assistance from my Department.
