Vol. 385 No. 2

Written Answers. - County Meath Schools.

223.

asked the Minister for Education the schools in County Meath in which prefabricated classrooms are in use; the age of each prefabricated building; and the plans for its replacement.

The information requested is not readily available from my Department's records and I am not prepared to authorise the compilation of the information as it would require an inordinate amount of staff time. It is a matter in the first instance for school authorities to seek the repair or replacement of prefabricated accommodation which they consider is in a deteriorating condition.
