asked the Minister for Health the reason he has not yet made the necessary arrangements to ensure that the County Borough of Galway is appropriately represented on the Western Health Board as stated in a reply to Parliamentary Question, No. 49 of 28 October 1987; and, as he further stated, that he is not opposed in principle to granting representation on the Western Health Board to Galway County Borough, the reason for the delay in making this decision, bearing in mind that Galway Corporation was granted County Borough status on 1 January 1986.
