Vol. 385 No. 2

Written Answers. - Dublin Company Tax Arrears.

83.

asked the Minister for Finance if the Revenue Commissioners will allow a small business (details supplied) in Dublin 1 employing eight workers a longer time span to pay off arrears, that is, a four-year span instead of a two-year span which is the best arrangement that the firm can realistically manage; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the company in question was offered the facility to clear the arrears over a two year period on a number of occasions but did not avail of the offer. Collection of the bulk of arrears is now at the enforcement stage and cannot be the subject of an instalment arrangement.
