Vol. 385 No. 3

Written Answers. - Mayo Teaching Post.

75.

asked the Minister for Education in view of the fact that the enrolment at Rathnamagh primary school, Crossmolina, County Mayo, has increased its enrolment from 28 pupils to 34 pupils from September, 1988, and, in view of the increased projected enrolment, if she will consider having the assistant teacher taken from the panel and recognised as a permanent whole-time member of Rathnamagh primary school teaching staff.

A submission in this regard has been received from the chairman of the board of management and is being examined. My Department will be writing to him in the matter shortly.
