Vol. 385 No. 6

Written Answers. - County Cork Flooding Relief.

163.

asked the Minister for Finance if moneys will be provided from any source either nationally or from the EC to relieve the flooding of Ballymakeera and Ballyvourney, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

164.

asked the Minister for Finance if there are any moneys available in his or any other Department for the relief of flooding in Enniskeane, County Cork.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 163 and 164 together.

There are no proposals under consideration at present for the relief of flooding of either Ballymakeera or Ballyvourney, County Cork, which are situated in the Lee River Catchment, or Enniskeane, County Cork, which is situated in the Bandon River Catchment. Accordingly the question of making moneys available does not arise.
