Details regarding the 1988 scheme of grants to outstanding sportssperson are set out in the attached Guideline Booklet, (Appendix 1). Grants to the sum of £64,800 were allocated under the second allocation of this scheme.
Details regarding (a) the number of applications received from each national governing body and (b) the grantees classified by sport and amount of grant-aid allocated are set out in the table hereunder and in the attached press release, (Appendix 2).
