As the three mushroom houses in this case were erected without prior written approval of the Farm Development Service, they are not eligible for grant aid. However, as work on the ancillary services for the mushroom houses had not commenced an approval was issued in respect of these investments. Until notification of the completion of this work is received, together with a signed declaration from the applicants accepting the partial payment of the grant, the claim cannot be further processed.
