I have requested the chairman of Córas Iompair Éireann to make arrangements to provide beach material in 1989 to counter coastal erosion at Rosslare Strand. In accordance with arrangements approved by Government, the costs arising from the provision and transportation of the beach material fall to be borne as to 80 per cent by CIE and as to 20 per cent by Wexford County Council.
