Vol. 386 No. 3

Written Answers. - Withdrawal of Tax Incentives.

120.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will withdraw all tax incentive benefits and rates relief that might accrue to a company (details supplied) in Dublin 22 or any subsidiary of that company, with regard to their development at Arran Quay, Dublin 1, in light of the demolition of a number of houses at Arran Quay at a time when no planning permission had been granted by Dublin Corporation.

I have no function in regard to rates relief or planning permission matters. The question of tax incentives at this site for the company concerned does not arise at this stage. If and when an application for any tax relief or incentive is made, it will be considered by the Revenue Commissioners in accordance with the relevant legislative provisions.
