Vol. 386 No. 7

Written Answers. - Ballydesmond (County Cork) National School.

126.

asked the Minister for Education whether she intends re-roofing Ballydesmond national school, County Cork; if so, when; whether tenders will be advertised; and if so, when.

I understand that the Office of Public Works will shortly send tender documents for the provision of a new roof and renewal of windows at Ballydesmond national school, County Cork to the chairman of the board of management of the school to enable him to invite tenders. I am not in a position to indicate the exact date on which the tender documents will be issued but I am assured by the Office of Public Works that the matter is being treated as one of urgency.

I am advised that tender documents for the roof have been issued in April 1988 but it appears that no action was taken.
