Vol. 386 No. 8

Written Answers. - Long-Term Hospital Patient Entitlements.

66.

asked the Minister for Health the entitlements which are due to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9 who is a long-term hospital patient; the reason he has not received payments since he entered hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have had inquiries made of the Eastern Health Board in this case and have been informed that the board have no record of any application for assistance from the person in question. I would suggest that he contact the community welfare services of the board with a view to ascertaining his entitlements, if any.
