Vol. 386 No. 9

Written Answers. - Tax Free Allowance.

43.

asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford who is on the social employment scheme with Wexford County Council will obtain a full tax free allowance; and if he will ensure that any resultant tax rebate is issued to him.

The Revenue Commissiners have advised me that a tax-free allowance certificate was issued to the taxpayer's employer on 27 January 1989. All income tax deducted from him under the emergency basis, will be refunded to him by his employer on operation of that certificate.
