My Department is currently in the process of acquiring all sporting rights held by the Land Commission but a definitive list of those rights for County Mayo is not yet available.
A number of active sporting rights were let by the former Forest and Wildlife Service up to 1985 on behalf of the Land Commission. Details of those rights are held in my Department but information for County Mayo could not be extracted in the short time available. I am arranging to have details for County Mayo compiled and sent to the Deputy.
